Experience life in the desert on an overnight tour to a Bedouin camp in the Wahiba Sands. Meet the local nomads and learn more about their traditional lifestyle.

Day 1:
Benefit from pick-up at your hotel or the port and journey to the local tour operator's office for some welcome dates and Arabic coffee. Set off across the dunes of the Wahiba Sands and stop at a Bedouin house for a camel ride in the desert. Take part in a dune-bashing drive and find a nice spot to watch the sunset. Help to collect wood to cook your dinner around the campfire, and then relax under a canopy of stars.

Day 2:
Drive to the end of the Wahiba Sands after breakfast and visit a Bedouin family to learn about their life. Hear about the culture of Oman and practice a few words in Arabic. Visit the village of Quhaid on the edge of the Arabian Sea, and then continue along the coast to refresh yourself at a mountain pool before the drive back to your hotel.
