11 am arrival at Bedouin Meeting Point inside the desert on your own ( 4x4 required )

Meet your Bedouin hosts in the Wahiba Sands and enjoy a warm Omani welcome with traditional coffee (kahwa) and dates.

Introduction to Bedouin Cuisine

Learn about local ingredients, spices, and traditional desert cooking techniques passed down through generations.

Hands-on Cooking Experience
Participate in preparing traditional dishes such as:

• Omani rice dishes

• Fresh bread baked on the fire

• Local meat or vegetarian dishes mostly cooked in one pot or under the sand 

Cooking Over Open Fire

Experience authentic Bedouin-style cooking using open fire or traditional methods.

Shared Meal
Enjoy the meal you prepared together, seated in traditional Bedouin style, while learning about desert life, customs, and stories.

the experience takes around 1,5 – 2 hours
